Michael Kors is hiring a part-time Stock Supervisor in Deer Park, NY to manage inventory, merchandising and back-of-house operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stockroom operations including receiving, shipping, processing deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with the store manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls and inventory integrity programs.
- Execute and train staff on management register functions and appropriate register usage; support cash-control procedures.
- Plan and participate in inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain selling-floor standards by implementing visual merchandising directives and ensuring product is replenished and presented correctly.
- Support store team with customer-service issues, returns and complaint resolution to safeguard client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Coach and mentor sales and stock staff on operational procedures, grooming standards and adherence to company policies.
- When required for offsite locations, transport product to/from external storage following company shipping and documentation protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in retail stock, inventory or back-of-house operations; supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven competency with inventory control, shipping/receiving procedures and basic cash/register operations.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise (regularly up to company-specified weights) and perform physically active stockroom tasks.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak seasons; reliable attendance and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required if assigned offsite driving responsibilities.

Experience
Requires 1–2 years of retail stockroom or inventory experience with exposure to shipping/receiving and merchandising; prior supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred.
Education
