Michael Kors in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a part-time Stock Associate to manage inventory and stockroom operations in a fast-paced retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a neat, organized and fully stocked selling floor and stockroom.
- Receive, process and store incoming shipments; follow shipping and receiving protocols and maintain related paperwork.
- Execute inventory control procedures and participate in regular inventories and cycle counts.
- Operate Point-of-Sale systems and perform register functions in compliance with POS policies and procedures.
- Support customer service by assisting sales colleagues, resolving client issues and maintaining the client book as directed.
- Adhere to work schedule and time-and-attendance policies; attend store trainings and meetings as required.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds, reaching, bending, kneeling and merchandising duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant retail experience, preferably with stockroom or inventory responsibilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays and peak retail trading days.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs).
Skills
Experience
At least two years of relevant experience in a retail environment with hands-on responsibility for stockroom operations, receiving/shipping and inventory management; experience in luxury or premium retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
