Role & Responsibilities
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked to retail standards
- Receive and process shipments, checking items against shipping invoices for accuracy
- Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
- Replenish stock on the sales floor as needed and arrange return shipments for defective or overstock items
- Observe proper safety procedures in the stockroom, particularly when lifting and moving heavy items
- Participate in regular store inventories and assist in preventing theft and maintaining proper inventory control
- Retrieve items from stockroom at customer request and place special orders when necessary
- Assist in cleaning and organizing the store and stockroom during closing shifts
- Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures, executing relevant register functions
- Attend store meetings and participate in training and development seminars as directed
- Report issues or problems to stock manager or store management
- Build and maintain repeat clientele and resolve client complaints quickly and effectively

- Prior experience in retail or luxury environments
- Familiarity with inventory management software
- Ability to read and interpret invoices and packing slips
- Demonstrated knowledge of stockroom safety procedures
- Physical capability to unload, lift, and carry heavy boxes
