Michael Kors Stock Associate position in Bicester, UK – seasonal, part-time retail inventory management role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and properly stocked
- Assist in cleaning the store and stockroom during closing shifts
- Maintain all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
- Execute stock, shipping, and receiving protocols and complete all related paperwork
- Verify received items against shipping invoices to ensure shipment accuracy
- Replenish stock on the sales floor as required
- Pack defective items or overstock and arrange return shipments
- Observe proper safety procedures in the stockroom, especially when lifting and moving heavy items
- Report issues and problems to the stock manager or store manager
- Participate in store inventory counts
- Assist in loss prevention and inventory maintenance
- Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures
- Execute relevant register functions accurately
- Adhere to work schedule and attendance requirements
- Attend store meetings and training programs
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries about available stock
- Retrieve items from stockroom at customer request
- Process special orders for customers when necessary
- Build and maintain repeat clientele using client book systems
- Resolve customer complaints and problems promptly and effectively
