Michael Kors seeks a Solution Architect - Digital Commerce in London to lead eCommerce platform development and team leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers developing Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Akeneo PIM applications
  • Create technical design documents and drive implementation of eCommerce solutions
  • Design flexible, maintainable, and secure solutions across North America and EMEA regions
  • Oversee integration strategies with third-party payment service providers and external systems
  • Mentor and coach software engineers to strengthen the engineering practice
  • Establish and enforce coding standards through code reviews and quality analysis
  • Manage technical debt and maintain a prioritized backlog of technology improvements
  • Identify process improvements to Capri's site release strategy
  • Drive adoption of test-driven development and agile best practices across teams
  • Stay current with digital commerce technology trends through continued professional education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in eCommerce technology
  • Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Proficiency with Akeneo PIM systems
  • Strong knowledge of payment service provider integrations
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce architecture and digital strategy
