Michael Kors seeks a Social Strategist in NYC to analyze and report on social media metrics, drive strategic insights, and optimize brand performance across platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key social media metrics across the Michael Kors social ecosystem to drive brand and business decisions
- Synthesize social data insights from brand and influencer content performance and social listening into actionable recommendations
- Build and lead the 'Team Kors' Employee Ambassador Program, identifying key talent for social amplification and engagement
- Support sourcing and management of user-generated content, including content review and collaboration with BazaarVoice
- Analyze and report on organic social performance and brand sentiment using native and custom analytics tools, delivering weekly reports to senior leadership
- Lead competitive research and analysis across social media and 360 activations within the fashion and luxury industries
- Benchmark results against competitors and identify emerging trends, innovations, and social network opportunities
- Configure and maintain analytics tools in collaboration with external vendors and technology platforms
- Support social commerce optimization, including Instagram Shops and other social shopping experiences
- Assist with community management and content posting across social platforms as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of social media strategy experience
- Demonstrated experience synthesizing data analyses into actionable results
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with standard social listening tools and platform native analytics (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Weibo, Threads, WeChat)
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Creative and proactive communication skills
- Ability to work in NYC office 4 days per week

Experience
3+ years of social media strategy experience with demonstrated expertise in data synthesis and analytics. Exposure to paid, owned, and earned social media channels is preferred. Experience in the fashion and/or retail space is advantageous. Familiarity with social listening and publishing tools is beneficial.
