Michael Kors is hiring a Shop Manager in The Woodlands, TX (Houston Metro) to lead sales, clienteling and a retail team at Macy's.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and business results through active floor leadership and accountable execution of company standards.
- Deliver an elevated client experience via personalised clienteling, in-store events and high-touch customer engagement.
- Coach, train and motivate retail partners on product knowledge, selling techniques and visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain consistent visual excellence and ensure the shop presentation aligns with Michael Kors brand guidelines.
- Develop regular, organised communications with the District Manager, corporate partners and store teams to align on business priorities.
- Support operational activities including POS operation, merchandise handling and loss-prevention practices.
- Manage store scheduling and ensure coverage during peak retail periods, holidays and promotional events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years' retail management experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, holidays and major retail events.
- Ability to meet physical requirements: stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, reach, bend and operate POS equipment.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of progressive retail management experience with a proven record of driving sales, coaching teams and delivering exceptional customer service in a fashion or department-store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or a degree in business, fashion or a related field preferred.
