Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with merchandising and global VMD teams (New York) to localize and execute seasonal visual merchandising strategies for full-price and outlet channels
- Develop and approve local visual merchandising guidelines aligned with global brand standards
- Manage store openings, renovations, and special events across all departments, vendors, and logistics
- Coach, mentor, and develop visual merchandising team members to support company vision and objectives
- Own and oversee the VM Expert talent development program, selecting candidates from store sales associates and managing program throughout the annual cycle
- Manage visual merchandising team budget and resource allocation
- Recruit and develop high-performing talent; provide consistent performance feedback and evaluation
- Lead cross-departmental collaboration initiatives with merchandising, buying, and regional partners
- Propose and execute traffic-driving creative campaigns to regional and corporate leadership
- Participate in regular global visual merchandising calls and strategy sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of visual merchandising experience with handbag, leather goods, or ready-to-wear luxury brands (international or domestic)
- Advanced knowledge of visual merchandising principles and the ability to align visual strategy with customer experience objectives
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and teamwork capabilities
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and leadership
- Strong creative thinking and ideation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, and Word
