Michael Kors seeks Senior Manager, Digital Commerce in NY Metro Area. Lead ecommerce strategy, drive sales and conversion across luxury fashion site. $130–$140K USD.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate as owner of ecommerce business with full accountability for sales, margin, conversion, traffic, AOV, and customer growth KPIs
  • Own end-to-end site experience across homepage, navigation, collection pages, product detail pages, search, and cross-category experiences including gift guides and trend shops
  • Translate financial targets and seasonal priorities into clear, actionable ecommerce strategies
  • Monitor daily and weekly performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive swift action to improve results
  • Lead regular business recaps and provide clear performance insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Maintain strong understanding of brand direction and ensure site delivers with fashion authority informed by awareness of competitive landscape and market trends
  • Partner with Buying & Planning and Merchandising to maximize inventory productivity, product availability, and seasonal opportunities
  • Serve as customer advocate by leveraging financial performance data, web analytics, customer insights, and voice of customer to inform decisions
  • Own onsite commercial strategy across navigation, search, merchandising, content, and full customer journey—ensuring brand-right and conversion-optimized experience
  • Drive disciplined test-and-learn agenda in partnership with UX, Product Management, and Web Analytics focused on conversion and commercial growth
  • Ensure ecommerce launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments are executed with high quality, speed, and brand integrity
  • Align cross-functional partners around ecommerce priorities, product launches, campaigns, and inventory opportunities
  • Build strong relationships and drive accountability across teams to translate priorities into results
  • Lead, coach, and develop ecommerce talent, creating culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen team's ecommerce expertise and cross-functional fluency

Qualifications

  • 8+ years progressive ecommerce experience ideally within fashion, luxury, retail, or consumer brands
  • Demonstrated success driving ecommerce sales, conversion, customer growth, and overall business performance
  • Balance of brand sensibility and analytical rigor with ability to evaluate homepage for storytelling and brand impact as well as diagnose conversion issues
  • Strong sense of competitive landscape, fashion trends, and market dynamics with ability to translate awareness into site strategy
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and strong understanding of ecommerce technology, site operations, and digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, site experience, analytics, and digital marketing
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive results in highly collaborative, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across, influence upward, and mentor and develop team members
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with ability to clearly articulate business opportunities and recommendations
