Role & Responsibilities

• Create production-ready XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript interfaces for eCommerce platforms, focusing on performance and accessibility
• Design and build responsive layouts and reusable component libraries for continued development efficiency
• Prioritize user experience and usability in all digital deliverables
• Collaborate within agile teams, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, story point estimation, and retrospectives
• Drive frontend performance initiatives and implement scalable solutions across eCommerce applications
• Maintain and enhance frontend code quality standards across the development team
• Mentor junior developers on frontend coding standards, best practices, and industry evolution
• Stay informed of emerging web standards, technologies, and performance benchmarks

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer in a software house and/or eCommerce environment
• Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and ISML templating
• Advanced proficiency with Page Designer and creation of reusable components
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6) with adherence to industry coding standards
• Demonstrable experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Working knowledge of CSS pre-processors (SCSS), CSS-in-JS solutions, and modern CSS methodologies
• Familiarity with CSS grid systems, media query systems, typography, and spacing systems
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals standards
• Experience implementing PWA (Progressive Web App) kits and dynamic component loading techniques
• Solid grasp of Agile methodology including story estimation, sprint planning, and refinement
• Proficiency with Git version control in collaborative, large-scale development environments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, SEO principles, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience translating multi-viewport responsive and adaptive designs into production code
