Michael Kors is hiring a Senior Director of Retail Stores for the East Coast and Canada region in the NY Metro Area. Lead multi-market operations with compensation of $160,000–$220,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and manage territory, district, and store sales goals, tracking progress to ensure all objectives are met
- Conduct frequent store visits to ensure business acumen, policy compliance, and adherence to company standards for visual merchandising and customer service
- Analyze and monitor expenses and sales figures to maximize profitability across the retail network
- Partner with senior District Managers and store leaders to identify market opportunities and develop growth strategies
- Analyze performance metrics by district to create and implement data-driven improvement strategies
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent for the region across all districts
- Collaborate with Human Resources on performance management and talent succession planning
- Communicate company objectives effectively to senior management and store operations teams
- Work with cross-functional partners to provide strategic input and develop solutions aligned with business goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant retail experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven leadership of high-volume, multi-unit retail environments across multiple markets
