Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the retail operations team by defining team strategy and project plans to execute strategic initiatives
  • Drive omni-channel strategy to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience across online and physical stores
  • Oversee effective and streamlined store communications while continuously evolving and innovating communication methods
  • Manage retail workload planning in collaboration with all departments across the brand and corporate functions
  • Lead the store workforce management team to drive efficiencies in scheduling, payroll forecasting, reporting, census administration, and commission and incentive programs
  • Partner with corporate compensation department to create strategic compensation programs aligned with omni-channel business growth
  • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to support store systems and technology ensuring operational efficiency and innovation
  • Serve as primary liaison between corporate overhead departments and stores to ensure timely, consistent, and brand-appropriate communication
  • Oversee execution of real estate initiatives including store openings, expansions, relocations, and closings
  • Align with Learning and Development to support training tools and new hire onboarding to enhance customer experience and store productivity
  • Lead field operations team to drive compliance with back-of-house standards through training and store visits
  • Drive operational excellence by creating consistent and efficient back-of-house standards across the entire store fleet
  • Partner with finance department to identify efficiencies and manage expenses

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of in-store and/or retail operations experience involving field operations, workforce management, and communications
  • Proven retail operations experience required
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills to implement strategic initiatives from conception through execution
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills with ability to provide clear written and verbal direction
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and prioritize multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Proven leadership ability and strength in building and maintaining internal partnerships
  • Strategic thinking capability with ability to develop and execute achievable long-term goals
