Michael Kors Sales Supervisor — Full-time in Washington, DC (D.C. Metro-Atlantic). Lead store teams, drive sales and develop client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach store sales associates to achieve individual and store sales targets, modelling exemplary clienteling and service standards.
- Support upper management with the execution of strategic sales initiatives and day-to-day retail operations.
- Perform and oversee key opening and closing procedures, cash handling and other operational tasks to ensure store readiness and compliance.
- Develop customer relationships through styling advice, trend knowledge and personalised follow-up to maximise retention and lifetime value.
- Delegate tasks, manage workflow and provide on-the-floor training to empower the team and maintain high service levels during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years' relevant retail experience, preferably in premium or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable leadership aptitude with experience mentoring or supervising frontline staff.
- Strong clienteling track record with the ability to build and sustain lasting customer relationships.
- Commercially minded, organised and comfortable executing opening/closing and operational procedures.
- Energetic brand ambassador with a passion for fashion and a customer-first attitude.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of progressive retail experience in sales or supervisory roles, ideally within premium or luxury fashion environments where clienteling and sales coaching were core responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in retail management, merchandising or a related field preferred.
