Michael Kors is hiring a part‑time Sales Supervisor in Waterloo, NY — lead sales, clienteling and store operations for the Michael Kors retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales performance to meet established targets; coach and develop sales associates to elevate conversion and average transaction value.
- Deliver exemplary client service and cultivate lasting client relationships via personalised clienteling, appointment management and client-book maintenance.
- Demonstrate and maintain comprehensive product and brand knowledge to support high-touch selling and after-sales services including shipping, alterations and special requests.
- Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and preserve brand reputation.
- Support daily store operations: risk management, physical security, cash controls, POS/register operations and inventory processes.
- Assist in stockroom operations, shipping/receiving paperwork, and participate in regular inventories to maintain stock integrity.
- Execute merchandising and visual directives to ensure the selling floor is neat, organized, fully stocked and aligned with brand presentation standards.
- Train and mentor staff on register usage, product knowledge, customer service protocols and adherence to company policies and schedules.
- When required, perform offsite driving duties for product transport and support special retail events or trunk shows.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of specialty retail experience with demonstrated sales performance.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Proven proficiency in clienteling and delivering high-touch customer service.
- Strong communication, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including weekends, evenings and peak periods.
- Ability to perform basic cash-handling and POS/register functions; valid driver’s license if offsite driving is required.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of specialty retail experience; supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary study in retail, fashion or business preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Waterloo, New York, USA, with easy access to Rochester.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20 to USD 24 per hour.
