Michael Kors in McAllen, TX seeks a Part-time Sales Supervisor to lead the sales floor, drive performance and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach sales associates to achieve personal and store sales targets while maintaining elevated customer service standards.
- Assist store leadership in executing strategic initiatives to drive sales and operational performance.
- Perform key opening and closing duties and ensure compliance with store operational procedures.
- Develop and deepen customer relationships through clienteling and styling guidance; promote brand loyalty.
- Provide on-floor coaching in styling techniques, product knowledge and visual merchandising.
- Empower and motivate the team through mentorship, performance feedback and multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant retail experience, including direct sales and customer-facing roles.
- Demonstrable ability to lead, mentor and motivate frontline retail staff.
- Strong clienteling and relationship-building capabilities with a focus on high-touch service.
- Comfortable executing store operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures and basic cash handling.
- Technologically literate with the aptitude to learn POS and retail systems quickly.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of retail sales experience with exposure to supervisory or team-lead responsibilities; experience in fashion or luxury retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or customer service is advantageous.
