Role & Responsibilities
- Meet personal and store sales goals while assisting in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results
- Ensure all associates maintain elevated sales and service standards through leading by example and developing personal and staff sales techniques
- Build and maintain repeat clientele through utilization of personal client books and assisting staff with client relationship management
- Resolve customer problems, complaints, and service issues swiftly and effectively
- Collaborate with Store Manager on risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
- Support staff training in register usage, management functions, and cash control procedures including bank deposits and petty cash
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of merchandising and visual directives to ensure the selling floor reflects proper brand image
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales and stock staff
- Ensure brand image, grooming standards, and professional conduct are maintained across all associates
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience
- 1-2 years of specialty retail management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate retail sales teams
- Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and register management
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising standards
- Ability to work independently and assume management duties in the Store Manager's absence
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience with 1-2 years in a specialty retail management or supervisory capacity. Prior experience in luxury or premium fashion retail is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or retail management certification preferred.
