Michael Kors seeks a Sales Supervisor in Austin to support store results, oversee opening and closing operations, build customer relationships, and guide the team in delivering excellent service. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant retail experience, English proficiency, U.S. work authorization, schedule flexibility, and the ability to meet the stated physical requirements; it is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist upper management in driving results through a strategic, multifaceted approach.
- Perform key opening and closing duties and operational tasks.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a desire for individual growth in a fast-paced store environment.
- Develop customer relationships by building personal knowledge of current trends and coaching styling techniques.
- Lead and multitask to empower the team to deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Work toward personal and store sales goals while prioritizing the customer experience through team supervision and guidance.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant retail experience.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable.
- Ability to meet store scheduling and availability expectations, including a flexible schedule and work on weekends, holidays, and high-traffic sales days, including the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, and Mother’s Day.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Ability to handle merchandise and operate point-of-sale equipment.
- Ability to visually assess merchandise and customer needs.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in busy environments, including under bright lights, with music, and during peak traffic hours.
