Michael Kors seeks a Sales Supervisor in Anchorage, AK to lead store sales, coach staff and manage daily retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales targets through high-touch selling and expert product knowledge.
- Coach, develop and motivate sales associates to elevate selling techniques, clienteling and customer service standards.
- Deliver exceptional client service: resolve client issues, manage returns and special requests, and maintain long-term client relationships using individual and team client books.
- Oversee daily store operations including cash controls, register functions, inventory management, shipping/receiving and participation in physical inventories.
- Support loss-prevention and physical security protocols, and collaborate with the store manager on risk-management activities.
- Execute merchandising and visual directives to ensure the selling floor is stocked, organized and aligned with brand image.
- Monitor post-sale details (shipping, alterations, special requests) to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to sales policies.
- Maintain professional grooming and adherence to brand standards; support training follow-up and scheduling/time-and-attendance compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory or lead experience with a consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrable clienteling and customer service acumen with the ability to build repeat clientele.
- Comfortable executing management-level register functions and inventory/shipping protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing sales teams.
- Professional appearance and commitment to brand grooming standards.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to transport merchandise when serving as an offsite driver, if applicable.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, lead or coaching role; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in business, retail or fashion is preferred.
