Michael Kors seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Gonzales, LA to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals
- Utilize elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all merchandise
- Monitor all transaction details including shipping, alterations, and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client problems and complaints promptly and effectively
- Build and maintain a repeat clientele; utilize client book to strengthen customer relationships
- Maintain the selling floor and merchandise in a neat, organized, and well-stocked condition
- Assist in the maintenance of inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking
- Comply with all sales, Point-of-Sale, and shipping/receiving policies and procedures
- Execute all register functions correctly and accurately
- Adhere to assigned work schedule and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Participate in all training, development seminars, and team meetings as directed by store management
- Maintain a keen awareness of fashion industry trends and market developments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience
- Strong product knowledge and fashion awareness
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail operations
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as needed

Experience
Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury fashion or contemporary apparel retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail or customer service training is preferred.
