Michael Kors is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate in Gonzales, LA — drive sales, care for clients and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and meet individual and store sales targets through proactive clientelling and elevated customer service.
- Cultivate and maintain lasting client relationships, manage a personal client book and follow up on special requests.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge to present merchandise and advise clients on styling and fit.
- Manage post-sale client care including shipping coordination, alterations follow-up and resolution of client issues.
- Operate Point-of-Sale systems accurately, execute register functions and comply with all POS policies and cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain a refined selling floor: visual merchandising standards, stock replenishment and neat, organised displays.
- Support stockroom operations, shipping/receiving protocols, inventory counts and related paperwork.
- Participate in required training, development programmes and store meetings as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably within fashion or luxury retail.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and building repeat clientele.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with polished client-facing manner.
- Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to company policies, POS procedures and loss-prevention protocols.

Experience
Minimum two years of hands-on retail experience, with demonstrated success in sales generation and client relationship management in a fashion or luxury environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
