The Sales Assistant supports customer engagement and teammates on the sales floor while handling store operations, point-of-sale transactions, visual standards and omnichannel sales. The role is part-time and requires flexible availability, including weekends, holidays and peak retail days, as well as authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Role & Responsibilities

• Create an engaging in-store experience by interacting with customers and supporting teammates on the sales floor.
• Balance operational tasks efficiently across a variety of store functions.
• Process point-of-sale transactions and create a memorable customer experience.
• Meet productivity goals through multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual standards throughout the day.
• Drive omnichannel sales using available tools and technology.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
• Availability to meet store scheduling expectations, including a flexible schedule and work on weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail and sales days.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and stoop.
• Ability to handle merchandise and operate point-of-sale equipment.
• Ability to visually assess merchandise and customer needs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members in written and verbal formats.
• Ability to work in busy environments, including under bright lights, with music, and during peak traffic hours.
