Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact between licensees and internal design teams, ensuring Design/Product Development information is shared with external partners at critical seasonal milestones
  • Manage seasonal product development calendars and coordinate all meeting appointments
  • Prepare for design meetings with category-specific trend analysis and pre-meeting sales review with Manager
  • Attend all design meetings; capture and distribute recap notes, outline follow-up actions, and lead tailoring design meetings independently
  • Co-author and present seasonal design briefs across all categories in partnership with Manager
  • Attend cross-functional design meetings and distribute captured information to licensees
  • Organize Men's seasonal product and showroom walk-through presentations with internal design teams and licensees
  • Manage the Licensing sample library and process internal/external Marketing and PR requests for seasonal style outs, photo shoots, and look books
  • Share all final asset materials with Licensees within established deadlines
  • Monitor communication and partnership between Licensee marketing teams and MK Creative to ensure projects advance on schedule
  • Manage seasonal looks and ownership documents by confirming product and partnering with licensees to confirm buys
  • Collect, edit, and circulate wholesale marketing monthly decks to appropriate partners
  • Monitor and analyze monthly sales reports; arrange regular touch bases with licensees to discuss sales and distribution opportunities
  • Create and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for all categories across all Michael Kors retail channels
  • Request and prepare weekly and monthly sales and product bestseller analysis from all licensees; present information at key milestone business reviews
  • Maintain all touch-base meeting agendas in advance; ensure appropriate time allocation for calendar efficiency
  • Understand key attendees at each meeting and communicate declined invites to appropriate team members
  • Archive all documents to appropriate folders on the licensing drive

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of experience in Licensing, Merchandising, or Sales
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data visualization
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong presentation and collaboration skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management—internal and external
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for own work
