Michael Kors (London) seeks a People Communications & Engagement Manager (12-month maternity cover) to lead EMEA internal communications and employee engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the EMEA internal communications and engagement strategy in close partnership with the Director, Global People Communications and the Communications Centre of Expertise.
  • Design and execute employee engagement activations and wellbeing programmes that reflect the brand and resonate with regional employee populations.
  • Manage daily internal communications workflows: intake, writing, editing, approval and multi-channel distribution to ensure clarity and alignment across markets.
  • Coordinate EMEA messaging to guarantee consistency, timeliness and alignment with global communications and HR priorities.
  • Oversee and maintain the employee intranet (Front Row @ Capri) and other communication platforms, ensuring content governance and platform evolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders — Culture & Belonging, Marketing, Retail and Ecommerce — to translate business needs into compelling internal communications.
  • Lead logistics for regional roadshows, director offsites and employee events; manage project calendars, distribution lists and the connected communities engagement working group.
  • Anticipate and mitigate communications risks, escalating and resolving issues with the Director and relevant stakeholders; deliver ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' experience in internal or employee communications, ideally within luxury retail, wholesale or global corporate environments.
  • Proven writing, editing and presentation skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for varied internal audiences.
  • Strong project management capability, with demonstrable experience managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Creative mindset with a track record of developing engaging activations and events that drive employee engagement and wellbeing.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing at senior levels.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign preferred; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • Interest in employee wellbeing and inclusive workplace practices; multilingual skills are an asset but not required.
