Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve personal and store sales targets through active selling, client development and elevated service standards.
- Coach, mentor and supervise sales associates to develop selling techniques, clienteling skills and product knowledge.
- Deliver exceptional client service, manage complex customer enquiries and resolve complaints to ensure repeat business.
- Support store operations including cash controls, register functions, inventory processes, shipping/receiving and participation in inventories.
- Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives to ensure the sales floor is stocked, organised and brand-compliant.
- Collaborate with the store manager on loss prevention, physical security and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain professional image and grooming standards, support training follow-up and manage staff schedules and time & attendance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of specialty retail experience, with demonstrated sales performance.
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong customer-service orientation with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships (clienteling).
- Proficiency with point-of-sale/register operations and basic inventory procedures.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, holidays and peak periods; valid driver’s license when role requires offsite product transport.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of specialty retail experience, including demonstrated selling success; prior supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail management is a plus.
