Michael Kors seeks an IT Analyst, PLM in New York to support product lifecycle management systems across accessories, apparel, and footwear.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the entire product lifecycle process for accessories, apparel, and footwear categories, providing expert guidance to the business community
- Perform administrative tasks including user access management, view configuration, and system setup
- Establish and maintain system best practices and governance frameworks
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations, and coordinate resolutions with vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for PLM, vendor, and IT teams, producing comprehensive business requirements documents, technical documentation, and process maps
- Design, create, and execute test scripts for both internal testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) across projects, change requests, and bug fixes
- Map business processes to system capabilities and identify opportunities for alignment and optimization
- Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training documentation and system training sessions to internal and external users across multiple time zones
- Proactively identify system improvement opportunities and log enhancement requests with vendors
- Support change management initiatives, system maintenance activities, and deployments, including off-hours deployments, upgrades, and testing
- Ensure all deployments comply with Capri Holdings' Change Management Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting PLM systems (Centric Software experience is highly valued)
- Demonstrated understanding of product lifecycle processes for apparel, footwear, and/or accessories
- Proven ability to gather requirements, conduct process mapping, and execute comprehensive testing
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both business and technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work from the NYC office three days per week

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with PLM system administration and support in a corporate environment, with particular emphasis on product lifecycle management for fashion, accessories, or footwear industries. Experience managing system implementations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing end-user support is essential. Experience working with vendors and IT teams to resolve complex technical issues is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in PLM system administration may substitute for formal education in certain circumstances.
