Michael Kors seeks a Global People Communications & Graphic Design Specialist in NY Metro Area. Lead internal communications design and employee engagement across Capri brands. Hybrid role, $75K–$85K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of high-quality visual assets for internal communications and employee engagement initiatives across digital platforms, video, photography, presentations, events, and print collateral
- Translate key messages into clear, engaging, and visually compelling formats aligned with brand standards across all Capri brands and functions
- Develop and maintain design systems, templates, and visual guidelines to support scalable content creation and enable self-service authoring by global stakeholders
- Support the creation and delivery of internal communications—including intake, writing, editing, and distribution—for company announcements, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives
- Advise stakeholders on optimal content delivery formats, channels, layout, and storytelling approaches to maximize impact
- Support the launch and ongoing optimization of the global employee communications platform through engaging, consistent, and accessible digital content
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Global People Communications & Engagement to ensure all communications are strategically aligned, on-brand, and globally effective
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions, collaborating effectively across time zones with diverse stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant communications and graphic design experience, preferably in luxury retail, wholesale, or corporate environments with global employee presence
- Very strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, basic Premiere Pro/After Effects video editing); photography experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience creating content for digital platforms (intranets, employee engagement platforms, digital campaigns)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for various stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Strong capability to prioritize, pivot quickly based on changing business needs, manage time effectively, and remain composed under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling and creative design execution
