Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage seasonal accessories line plans ensuring product assortment aligns with brand vision, consumer needs, and business objectives
  • Evaluate regional line plans and partner with global teams to identify assortment opportunities and market-specific requirements
  • Identify assortment gaps, white-space opportunities, and key growth drivers to optimize productivity across the accessories portfolio
  • Maintain and evolve assortment architecture, ensuring appropriate breadth, depth, and pricing segmentation across the collection
  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Merchant, providing training, feedback, and professional development guidance
  • Serve as primary liaison between Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Production, Sales, Retail, and Planning teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure product, financial, and operational objectives are achieved
  • Communicate seasonal product strategies, line changes, key milestones, and assortment updates to internal and global stakeholders
  • Manage data input and accuracy within Centric PLM throughout the development process, including attributing, pricing, and style creation
  • Serve as point of contact within Centric PLM for the Mainline Accessories team
  • Partner closely with Design and Product Development to refine assortments, capture changes, and ensure product integrity
  • Review costing and profitability opportunities in partnership with Product Development and Production teams
  • Maintain pricing accuracy within assortment documentation and Centric PLM across all tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a fashion brand
  • Strong sense of the women's accessories market across luxury and accessible tiers
  • Ability to translate analysis into actionable business opportunities
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and influence others
  • Solid understanding of retail mathematics, merchandising, and buying metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint with advanced skills in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly visual presentation and showroom setup
  • Strategic thinking combined with analytical rigor
  • Demonstrated passion for product and fashion trends
  • Highly collaborative working style
