Capri Holdings (Michael Kors) seeks a Financial Manager — Australia & New Zealand in Sydney to lead ANZ tax, consolidation, treasury and finance operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare statutory and management financial statements for all ANZ legal entities across Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo.
- Lead ANZ income tax, FBT, GST and transfer pricing preparation and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
- Prepare, coordinate and manage all audit requirements for ANZ legal entities, including sales audits and audit deliverables.
- Consolidate Capri Holdings brand P&L for the region and partner closely with regional and brand finance stakeholders.
- Undertake treasury duties including intercompany settlements and cash flow reporting.
- Act as Company Public Officer and manage corporate secretarial obligations including ASIC filings, company statements and changes to share structure.
- Oversee inventory reporting, stock adjustments and stock-take processes for Michael Kors; manage related tax adjustments.
- Manage AP/AR operations for Michael Kors, and oversee third-party management teams including the MSP.
- Line manage one direct accountant and provide dotted-line oversight to brand financial accountants to support month-end closures and ad-hoc queries.
- Drive adoption of group processes, lead finance-related project coordination, and coach finance team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; CA/CPA qualification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable expertise in ANZ taxation (income tax, GST, FBT) and transfer pricing matters.
- Proven capability in statutory reporting, audit management and P&L consolidation for multi-brand organisations.
- Experience performing Company Public Officer duties and managing corporate secretarial/regulatory filings (ASIC).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills with experience supervising accounting staff and coordinating with regional teams.

Preferably 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within retail, luxury or consumer goods, including ANZ statutory/tax experience, audit management and people leadership with exposure to multi-brand consolidation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CA/CPA or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
