Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain ecommerce photography shotlists based on product data, launch timelines, and studio capacity
- Define required angles, image counts, and content types per SKU and evaluate existing imagery for reuse versus reshoot
- Partner with Photo Studio Production to keep shotlists aligned with daily and seasonal production plans
- Manage intake and organization of photography, 3D, AI-assisted, and campaign imagery across digital asset management systems
- Apply and validate metadata, naming conventions, and versioning standards while maintaining accurate version control
- Ensure assets meet technical requirements prior to handoff to product setup and site teams
- Track asset status from capture through delivery and identify missing, incorrect, or outdated assets
- Provide day-to-day guidance and task prioritization for a Content Operations Coordinator
- Collaborate closely with Photography, Retouching, Product Setup, and Content Operations teams
- Maintain clear documentation and standards to support consistent execution across workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in photography, digital media, information management, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in ecommerce photography operations or high-volume asset environments
- Hands-on experience managing metadata and image versioning at scale
- Experience working within a digital asset management system; Bynder experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ecommerce photography workflows
- Experience guiding or supporting junior team members in a production environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tracking tools
- Luxury, fashion, or premium retail experience preferred

6+ years of experience in ecommerce photography operations or high-volume asset environments, with hands-on expertise managing metadata, image versioning, and digital asset management systems at scale. Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced production setting is essential.
