Michael Kors in Venlo seeks a Customs Administrator to manage import/export declarations, AEO compliance and WMS/DMS records.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end customs processes for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate import/export declarations and full documentary compliance.
- Own and maintain customs records including import/export declarations, CoE (Confirmation of Exit), LTSDs (Long Term Supplier Declarations) and CoO (Certificates of Origin).
- Support and coordinate Physical Customs Control (Fyco) and execute the CITES process and returns handling where applicable.
- Operate in accordance with AEO procedures and work instructions; log AEO monitoring against KPIs and report irregularities to the Supervisor/Senior Manager Customs & Compliance.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between legacy systems and the DMS; propose administrative optimisations and mitigate risks to AEO standards.
- Maintain and develop proficiency in WMS and DMS according to the cross‑training matrix and contribute to team cross-training to meet KPI targets.
- Actively consult with the customs team to prioritise daily tasks, work independently when required and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of international customs legislation, import/export documentation and CITES procedures.
- Familiarity with AEO requirements and experience applying AEO controls in daily operations.
- Strong administrative capability with meticulous attention to documentary detail and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across operational teams.
- Proven ability to work independently while supporting team cross-training and KPI delivery.

Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in customs administration, import/export documentation or logistics operations within a commercial or retail supply‑chain environment; hands‑on experience with AEO processes preferred.
Education
Secondary vocational qualification (MBO) in logistics, international trade, business administration or equivalent practical experience in customs operations.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Venlo, Limburg, Netherlands, with easy access to Eindhoven.
