Michael Kors — Construction Sourcing Analyst in NY Metro Area. Manage sourcing, bidding and contracting for retail store construction across Capri brands.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support centralized sourcing for Capri Retail Development by sourcing, bidding, negotiating and contracting materials and trade services for store construction and remodels.
  • Maintain and manage brand‑aligned vendor panels including general contractors, millworkers, fixture manufacturers, signage, lighting and specialty trades.
  • Plan and execute competitive RFP events, perform bid leveling and conduct total cost analyses to inform award decisions.
  • Validate commercial terms against Capri standards and capex/approval thresholds during the pre‑construction and award process.
  • Issue and administer purchase orders and contracts in Capri systems with accurate cost coding, budget alignment and financial traceability.
  • Maintain procurement documentation including leveling documents, award summaries and change order logs.
  • Ensure vendor onboarding compliance (Coupa, W‑9/W‑8, COIs with proper endorsements, safety documentation, lien waivers, banking validation).
  • Track vendor performance across brands and support periodic panel evaluations.
  • Expedite procurement of milestone and long‑lead items in line with construction schedules and escalate at‑risk items proactively.
  • Partner with Project Managers to manage project budgets, committed costs, accruals and close‑outs.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sourcing, Design, Construction, Visual Merchandising, Loss Prevention/Security, Store Planning, Finance and Legal.
  • Support special initiatives including fixture programs, remodel waves, sustainability efforts and flagship enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years experience in retail construction sourcing, construction procurement or construction management.
  • Demonstrated ability to bid, analyze and award construction trades and custom millwork/fixture packages.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, long‑lead items and retail build‑out requirements.
  • Familiarity with procurement controls (COIs, lien waivers, change‑order processes) and vendor onboarding requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple bids, awards and procurement timelines concurrently.
  • Knowledge of import logistics and regional construction regulations.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Architecture, Engineering or a related field preferred.
