Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, disburse, and process all transactions in accordance with company policy and protocol
- Provide warm, welcoming customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
- Compute and record transaction totals accurately
- Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure float amounts are correct and registers contain adequate change
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change to customers
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Inform customers of store policies and procedures
