Role & Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using point-of-sale equipment
- Deliver an elevated customer experience during checkout interactions
- Perform operational tasks with excellence, including cash handling and register reconciliation
- Multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet productivity goals
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to support store operations across departments
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and assist customers with product information
- Collaborate with management and team members to drive omnichannel sales
- Support the store environment by maintaining standards during peak traffic periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant retail experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
- Ability to meet store scheduling and availability expectations, including flexible schedules, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic sales days
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and stoop
- Ability to handle merchandise and operate point-of-sale equipment
- Ability to visually assess merchandise and communicate clearly with customers and team members
