Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages to brand standards
- Anticipate customer and store needs by assessing the environment and recognizing guest cues while delivering personalized, elevated service
- Provide genuine, personalized customer service ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
- Educate guests on beverage menu options, brewing methods, and retail products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café and retail environment
- Support daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members across café and retail functions
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and standards

Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in guest-focused industries such as restaurants, bars, theaters, kitchens, specialty retail, or hospitality

- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
- Ability to meet store scheduling and availability expectations including flexible schedules, weekends, holidays, and peak retail days
- NY Food Handler Certificate and understanding of Department of Health regulations related to food service and employee and guest safety

Experience
Minimum 2+ years of customer-facing experience in hospitality, food service, specialty retail, bars, restaurants, theaters, or similar guest-focused environments.
Education
NY Food Handler Certificate required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
