Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Wrentham, MA to drive sales, manage operations, and lead retail teams in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Meet personal and store sales goals while assisting in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results
  • Ensure elevated sales and service standards across all associates; lead by example through personal sales excellence
  • Develop personal sales techniques and mentor associates to maximize individual and team sales performance
  • Maintain and enforce all sales-related policies and procedures; demonstrate in-depth product knowledge
  • Monitor fashion industry trends and market developments to inform merchandise and sales strategies
  • Ensure all associates deliver the highest standard of customer service and support
  • Build and maintain repeat clientele through personal client relationships and staff development
  • Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
  • Collaborate with Store Manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls, and inventory oversight
  • Support staff training in register usage, maintenance, and all management functions
  • Execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe fund management, and petty cash handling
  • Participate in physical inventories as required
  • Assist with driving product to and from offsite locations as needed
  • Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives across the selling floor
  • Ensure store environment remains neat, organized, clean, and reflects correct brand visual standards
  • Process deliveries in a timely manner and communicate inventory needs to support business goals
  • Identify and communicate product concerns promptly
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and development of store staff
  • Evaluate associate performance continuously and provide constructive feedback
  • Support payroll integrity and assist in managing the payroll process
  • Resolve human resources issues effectively in partnership with HR
  • Ensure all staff maintain professional image and grooming standards aligned with brand expectations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience
  • 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet performance targets
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build client relationships
  • Proficiency in retail operations, cash management, and inventory control
  • Leadership capability with experience supervising and developing retail staff
  • Knowledge of fashion merchandise and trends

Experience
