Michael Kors in Richmond, BC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. Full-time retail leadership role focused on client experience and omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling and POS reconciliation.
- Drive sales performance and KPI attainment through coaching, sales floor leadership and merchandising standards.
- Deliver an elevated client experience by developing and executing clienteling strategies to build and maintain a robust client book.
- Coach and develop store team on product knowledge, styling, selling techniques and trend awareness.
- Execute omnichannel sales initiatives by leveraging available retail technologies and tools to convert and fulfil client demand.
- Manage staffing, scheduling and labour to meet operational needs during peak periods, holidays and promotional events.
- Ensure adherence to visual merchandising, inventory control and loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail management experience in a fashion or luxury environment.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and peak retail trading days.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and develop a sales team to achieve targets.

Minimum of 3+ years of relevant retail management experience with a proven track record of driving sales, developing teams and delivering exceptional client service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or fashion merchandising preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 50 to CAD 60 per hour.
