Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Orlando, Florida to lead store operations, sales, and team management at Florida Mall location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet personal and store sales goals and assist in tracking and communicating business results
- Ensure all associates deliver elevated sales and service standards; lead by example in sales techniques and product knowledge
- Maintain repeat clientele through personal client management and support associate client development
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with Store Manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls, and inventory management
- Support staff training in register usage and execute management register functions
- Participate in inventory counts and execute cash control procedures including deposits and petty cash
- Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives to ensure selling floor standards
- Process deliveries and communicate product concerns and inventory needs to support business goals
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff; provide ongoing feedback
- Resolve human resources issues and partner with HR when necessary
- Ensure professional grooming and image standards aligned with brand guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience
- Strong sales acumen and ability to meet performance targets
- Proven customer service excellence and relationship-building skills
- Operational proficiency including cash handling, register systems, and inventory management
- Leadership and team development capability

Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in a specialty retail management capacity. Demonstrated success in driving sales, building client relationships, and leading retail teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional retail management certification or associate degree in business preferred.
