Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Orange, CA to lead the boutique team, drive omnichannel sales and deliver elevated client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver and elevate the customer experience to achieve sales and service targets.
- Lead and execute opening, closing and daily operational tasks to ensure store readiness and compliance.
- Coach, mentor and develop store team members on product knowledge, styling and selling techniques.
- Build and maintain a client book to increase repeat visits, client engagement and lifetime value.
- Drive omnichannel sales by leveraging available tools and technology to convert and fulfil customer demand.
- Exercise multi-tasking leadership on the sales floor while maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
- Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English.
- Ability to meet flexible store scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and perform routine merchandise handling and POS operations.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of three years in retail management, preferably within luxury, premium or fashion-led retail environments, with demonstrated success in team leadership and sales delivery.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a degree in business, fashion, retail management or a related field preferred.
