Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Oberhausen, Germany — lead store performance and deliver exceptional client experiences at Westfield Centro.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving daily store operations and ensuring all operational standards are met efficiently and accurately.
- Own store performance metrics and contribute to achieving sales targets through proactive selling, merchandising and KPI management.
- Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience and strengthen client relationships through active client book management and memorable service.
- Lead, coach and inspire the sales team as a role model, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Deploy omnichannel tools and technologies to maximise conversion and basket value, aligning in-store activity with digital channels.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards, stock integrity and loss-prevention procedures are maintained at all times.
- Contribute to workforce planning, efficient rostering and smooth day-to-day administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and people leadership experience within a retail environment, with a demonstrable track record against targets and KPIs.
- Solution-focused, proactive and adaptable approach to working in fast-paced, dynamic retail settings.
- Commercial and creative mindset with a strong interest in fashion and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and develop a multicultural team.
- Fluent English is an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Proven experience leading retail teams and delivering sales performance in a customer-facing environment; experience in premium or fashion retail is highly desirable.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; retail management training or vocational qualification preferred.
