Michael Kors is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in North Charleston, SC (Tanger Outlets) to lead store operations and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales results by delivering an elevated, personalised customer experience and building lasting client relationships.
- Lead and execute opening and closing procedures and other daily operational tasks to ensure store readiness and loss-prevention compliance.
- Coach, mentor and develop store team members on styling, selling techniques and clienteling to maximise individual and team performance.
- Ensure consistently high customer service standards while exercising leadership, multi-tasking and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain a client book to increase repeat traffic and engagement, leveraging in-store and digital touchpoints.
- Drive omnichannel sales by utilising all available retail tools and technology to convert demand across channels.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience, preferably within premium or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members and to foster a client-centric sales culture.
- Proven track record of delivering customer service excellence and meeting sales KPIs.
- Energetic, motivated brand ambassador with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Technologically literate with the ability to adopt retail systems and omnichannel tools.

Experience
At least 3 years of progressive retail management experience, preferably in fashion or a comparable premium retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; formal study in business, fashion or retail management preferred.
