Michael Kors Assistant Store Manager (Rockefeller Center, New York) — Full-time role leading sales, clienteling and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales floor to deliver an elevated, client-focused customer experience and meet store KPIs.
  • Coach, develop and motivate store staff to improve selling techniques, product knowledge and styling capabilities.
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Build and maintain a client book through proactive clienteling and relationship management to drive repeat business and traffic.
  • Execute visual merchandising and product presentation aligned with brand standards and seasonal direction.
  • Drive omnichannel sales by leveraging available digital tools and store-level platforms to convert and fulfil client demand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion retail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clienteling, relationship building and personalized selling.
  • Exceptional customer-service orientation, strong commercial acumen and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak shopping periods.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of retail management experience, ideally within a luxury or premium fashion environment with responsibility for sales targets and team leadership.
