Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Milpitas (San Francisco Bay Area), USA — lead sales, clienteling and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and loss-prevention activities.
- Drive sales performance and deliver an elevated, client-centric customer experience.
- Coach, mentor and develop store staff to increase product knowledge, styling ability and selling effectiveness.
- Build and maintain a client book through proactive clienteling and relationship development.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects current brand directives and trends.
- Leverage omnichannel tools and technology to maximise sales and drive footfall and conversion.
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment and daily operational reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, coach performance and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong clienteling skills with demonstrated success building lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for styling and product presentation.
- Technologically literate with the ability to adopt and leverage omnichannel retail tools.
- Energetic, self-starting attitude and strong commercial acumen; luxury or premium fashion experience preferred.

Minimum three years of progressive retail management experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion, demonstrating team leadership, client development and consistent sales results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, fashion, merchandising or a related field preferred.
