Michael Kors is hiring an Assistant Store Manager (Men's) in Mercedes, TX — lead store operations, clienteling and omnichannel sales for the Rio Grande Outlets opening.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, including execution of key opening and closing duties and adherence to operational standards.
- Deliver and drive results through an elevated, fashion-forward customer experience that builds long-term client relationships.
- Coach, mentor and develop the sales team on current trends, styling, selling techniques and clienteling to grow a loyal client book.
- Manage omnichannel sales by leveraging available tools and technology to convert, fulfil and grow traffic across channels.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational multitasking while fostering an inspiring, development-focused store culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience.
- Proven leadership with the ability to coach, mentor and develop sales teams to achieve commercial goals.
- Demonstrable expertise in clienteling and building a client book to drive repeat business.
- Customer-service obsessed with a strong ability to sell and translate styling knowledge into commercial results.
- Technologically savvy with an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced, new store opening environment.
Skills
Experience
At least three years of progressive retail management experience, ideally within a fashion or premium retail environment. Experience in coaching teams, running store operations and contributing to omnichannel sales is required; new store opening experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, fashion merchandising or a related field preferred.
