Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Lead store operations, drive sales, and manage team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet personal and store sales goals and assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results
- Ensure all associates maintain elevated levels of sales and customer service, leading by example
- Develop personal sales techniques and mentor associates to maximize revenue generation
- Enforce all sales-related policies and procedures while maintaining in-depth product knowledge
- Monitor fashion industry trends and market developments
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service across all associate interactions
- Build and maintain repeat clientele through personal client engagement and support
- Resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently and effectively
- Manage inventory in collaboration with the Store Manager, including participating in physical inventories
- Execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe fund management, and petty cash oversight
- Support staff training in point-of-sale systems, register maintenance, and operational protocols
- Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives across the selling floor
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and reflects the correct brand image
- Process deliveries in a timely manner and communicate product concerns promptly
- Assist in recruitment, training, and ongoing development of store staff
- Evaluate associate performance continuously and provide constructive feedback
- Partner with HR to resolve personnel matters in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to brand image and professional grooming standards
- Assist the Store Manager in risk management and physical security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- 1–2 years specialty retail management experience
- Current work authorization for the United States
- Strong sales background with proven ability to meet targets
