Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in London to lead store operations, drive sales and develop a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and coach the store team to cultivate a culture of accountability, elevated service and sustained sales performance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development to build and retain high-calibre brand ambassadors.
- Drive sales through direct floor leadership, proactive client engagement and rigorous use of clienteling tools and the client database.
- Analyse performance reports and implement targeted action plans to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate on local customer events and activations to generate incremental revenue and deepen client relationships.
- Maintain inventory integrity through scheduled audits, bi-annual inventories and loss-prevention practices.
- Operate company communication platforms and ensure timely execution of corporate updates and operational initiatives.
- Contribute to store-level budgeting and operational planning alongside the management team.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrable leadership ability with experience coaching and developing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using clienteling tools or client database systems.
- Strong commercial acumen with familiarity using retail KPIs to drive performance.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and follow-up skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing retail priorities.
- Fluency in English and effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within retail, preferably in premium or luxury fashion.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification or diploma in retail or hospitality management preferred.
