Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Las Vegas to support retail operations, sales, and staff development. Full-time position reporting to Store Manager.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Meet personal and store sales goals while tracking and communicating business results
  • Ensure elevated levels of sales and service are practiced by all associates; lead by example
  • Develop personal sales techniques and mentor associates in sales methodologies to maximize revenue
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of merchandise and build product expertise among selling staff
  • Monitor fashion industry trends and market developments
  • Ensure associates deliver exceptional customer service consistently
  • Build and maintain repeat clientele through personal client book management and staff support
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with Store Manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls, and inventory management
  • Train and support staff in register usage, maintenance, and management functions
  • Execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds, and petty cash management
  • Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts
  • Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives across the selling floor
  • Ensure the selling floor remains neat, organized, and reflective of brand standards
  • Process deliveries promptly and identify product concerns
  • Communicate inventory needs to support business objectives
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and development of retail staff
  • Evaluate associate performance and provide continuous feedback
  • Resolve human resources issues in partnership with the HR department
  • Maintain professional image and grooming standards consistent with brand identity
  • Support training programs and seminars for staff development

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience
  • 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership capability with proven ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Comprehensive product knowledge and fashion industry awareness
  • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience
