Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations across sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory and administration, and act as Store Manager in their absence.
- Drive personal and store sales targets; monitor and communicate business results and take corrective action to achieve goals.
- Coach and develop selling staff to deliver elevated customer service and product knowledge; lead by example on the sales floor.
- Manage operational controls including cash handling, bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash and register functions; participate in inventory counts.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising directives to ensure the selling floor reflects brand standards and merchandise is processed promptly.
- Collaborate on risk management, loss prevention, physical security and stock controls; communicate inventory needs and product concerns.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation and ongoing training of store personnel; ensure adherence to brand image and grooming standards.
- Resolve client complaints and service issues promptly to preserve and grow repeat clientele; support clienteling and utilisation of client books.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in specialty retail management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a retail team and deputise for the Store Manager when required.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and coaching others to improve sales performance.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising standards, inventory controls and cash management procedures.
- Ability to handle customer escalations with diplomacy and professionalism; commitment to brand service standards.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred/required if responsible for offsite product transfers.

Minimum three years of retail experience, including one to two years in a specialty retail management or supervisory position with responsibility for sales performance, team coaching and store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
