Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Daytona Beach to support store operations, drive sales, and manage staff in a dynamic luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve personal and store sales goals whilst monitoring and communicating business results
- Lead by example in sales and service excellence, coaching associates to maximize performance and sales techniques
- Maintain an elevated level of customer service and resolve client problems and complaints swiftly and effectively
- Develop product knowledge and educate sales staff on merchandise features and market trends
- Maintain all sales-related policies and procedures including client book utilization and repeat clientele management
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
- Conduct staff training in point-of-sale systems, register functions, and cash control procedures including bank deposits and safe fund management
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising and visual directives
- Ensure the selling floor is neat, organized, and reflects the correct brand image at all times
- Process incoming deliveries in a timely manner and communicate product concerns to management
- Participate in recruitment, training, and development of store staff
- Ensure payroll integrity and partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters
- Evaluate associate performance and provide consistent feedback to drive results
- Enforce professional image and grooming standards reflective of the brand
- Assume full Store Manager responsibilities during his or her absence
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years of specialty retail management
- Demonstrated expertise in sales generation and customer service in a luxury retail environment
- Strong product knowledge and ability to train and mentor sales associates
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Leadership capability with proven ability to supervise and motivate a team

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience required. Candidate should demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets, coaching retail associates, and managing store operations in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level coursework or retail management certification preferred.
