Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth. Lead sales, customer service, and operations in a dynamic luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales goals while tracking and communicating business results
- Model elevated sales and service standards for all associates and develop their sales techniques
- Maintain repeat clientele through personal client book management and client relationship coaching
- Address customer service issues and complaints quickly and effectively
- Assist Store Manager in risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
- Train and mentor staff on register usage, cash control procedures, bank deposits, and safe fund management
- Implement and maintain all merchandising and visual directives
- Ensure the selling floor remains neat, organized, and reflects correct brand visual image
- Process deliveries in a timely manner and communicate product concerns
- Support inventory management to meet business goals
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff
- Ensure payroll integrity and process accuracy
- Evaluate associate performance and provide continuous feedback
- Resolve human resources issues in partnership with HR
- Maintain brand image and grooming standards across the team
- Assume Store Manager responsibilities during their absence
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in specialty or store management
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and mentor team members
- In-depth product knowledge and ability to develop merchandise expertise in others
- Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills
- Experience with inventory management and cash control procedures
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems
- Understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, and brand standards

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in specialty store management. Demonstrated expertise in sales generation, customer service leadership, and operational oversight in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management education or certifications preferred.
