Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth to lead sales, operations, and team development in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales goals while monitoring and communicating business results
- Lead by example in demonstrating elevated sales and service standards; develop personal and staff sales techniques
- Build and maintain repeat clientele through personal client book management and staff coaching
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues quickly and effectively
- Oversee staff training in register usage, cash controls, inventory management, and payroll integrity
- Collaborate with Store Manager on risk management, physical security, and store cash controls
- Execute merchandising and visual directives to maintain a neat, organized selling floor reflecting brand standards
- Recruit, train, and develop retail staff; provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching
- Ensure professional image and grooming standards aligned with brand expectations
- Process merchandise deliveries in a timely manner and communicate inventory needs to support business goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- 1–2 years specialty retail management experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and register functions
- Knowledge of inventory management and cash control procedures
